It's a first! The first ever official Bikes and Beers jersey, to commemorate our 10th annual Bikes and Beers ride (held on May 6, 2012).

We've never had a jersey or t-shirt for Bikes and Beers, so we're pretty stoked about this jersey.

TRANSITION TRAIL OR PARK

Get ready for some fun with the 2012 Transition Trail or Park complete bike. This steel hardtail is Transition's no compromise dirt jump and park hardtail.

The Trail-or-Park features a Campy size integrated headset and, new for 2012, a Euro bottom bracket for more crankset options; BMX three piece cranks, or standard mountain bike cranks, take your pick. The lightweight 4130 seamless butted chromoly tubeset is fully ED plated to prevent internal rust.

Over the years the frame weight has been trimmed down to 5.6 lbs, but the Trail-or-Park is built to last, no matter how hard you ride.

2012 YETI SB95 FRAME

The 2012 Yeti SB95 is Yeti's entry into the 29er market.

This 5-inch 29er rig features Yeti's new Switch Technology, creating a platform with crisp pedaling and efficient bump absorption. Together with a progressive geometry (slack and low), it gives the bike a lively, yet planted feel on the trail.

The net result is a bike that climbs extremely well but descends even better.

Everyone's been waiting for this one...new for 2012, the Salsa Horsethief is Salsa's new aggressive 29er.

This new 120mm rear travel model is a very capable climber, but with a slight bias towards the descents. The geometry is designed for use with a shorter stem, positioning the rider in a more upright position for more aggressive riding.

2012 KONA KING KAHUNA 29ER CARBON

Yes, Kona's entry into carbon fiber bikes has arrived. The 2012 Kona King Kahuna 29er is Kona's first 29er carbon fiber hardtail.

Kona has been designing and building trail-inspired, race-winning 29er mountain bikes for seven years now. The mastered geometry of the King Kahuna includes short chainstays, a low bottom bracket, a stiff 142x12 rear axle, and a great build spec package.

2012 PIVOT MACH 429

The original Mach 429 received the MTBR.com award for best 29er and Mountain Bike Action readers picked it as the #1 choice for their next 29er. The combination of Pivot design and dw-link® suspension makes for a bike that accelerates, descends, climbs, and corners unlike any other 29er made.

2012 SURLY MOONLANDER FRAME & FORKSET

For 2012, Surly introduces the Moonlander. It takes their FFF (Fatties Fit Fine) philosophy very, very seriously.

Moonlander is designed to work with Surly's new Clown Shoe rims (100mm singlewall!), Big Fat Larry tires (4.5” Larry tread!), and Mr. Whirly Offset Double crank. The very wide rims and very large tires, as you might expect, make for amazing traction, floatation, and minimal ground impact. The frame’s 28mm offset and the Whirly Offset Double crank allow room for such big rubber without chain rub.

The fork (symmetrical blades, no offset) operates using a 135mm hub but unlike the Pug fork will use a front disc caliper adapter. The rear dropouts are the same as the Pug.

We've got the Moonlander frame and forkset in a size 18" to start. MSRP is $700.

Brand new for 2012, the Satori is Kona's brand new 130mm travel 29er dual suspension mountain bike. An aggressive all-mountain trail bike with relatively long travel for a 29er, while still keeping a short wheelbase and compact chainstays for quick acceleration, great trail handling, lots of standover, and awesome rider fit.

SALSA EL MARIACHI TI

The 2012 Salsa El Mariachi Ti is a get-it-done-well-everyday mountain bike. It is proof that a mountain bike can kick ass repeatedly.

Salsa first introduced the steel El Mariachi in 2007, and riders have given it rave reviews ever since. The El Mariachi Ti joined the dance party in 2011 and has gained similar accolades.

The Surly Rolling Darryl is a whopping 82mm wide welded seam single wall rim. When used with a superfat tire run at low pressure, Rolling Darryl produces a big footprint that provides amazing traction and floatation. This means you can go places you couldn't before, such as many kinds of mud, sand and snow.

We got a set of limited edition green! They run $180 per rim.

Note that a rim this wide requires a frame and fork designed for rims (and tires) of this size, such as the Surly Pugsley. Big fat rims and tires simply will not fit in 'normal' frames.

2012 KONA BIKES

Introducing the all-new downhill/bike park/big-mountain-specific, down-addicted destroyer: the 2012 Kona Entourage. In essence, it's a smaller-travel (170mm) Operator redesigned into a tighter package, with radically shorter stays for quick turns, spins and all-around freeriding (new word we made up), with a low BB and slack HA for stability.

Built with performance durability and worlds of fun and speed in mind, hit everything you would on the big bike, but fall in love with the Entourage's nimbleness and maneuverability. Just ask Kona Team Gravity Rider Graham Aggasiz.

New model for 2012: the Kona Honzo, a balls-out, aggressive all-mountain 29er Cromoly hardtail. Featuring a beyond-vogue slack 68-degree headtube angle, low bottom bracket and short chainstays, the Honzo is all about getting radical on technical singletrack near you.

Featuring a zero-stack internal headset with tapered steertube, Kona continues to lead the way when it comes to the evolution of steel. A single front chainring with chain guide, 9-speed 36-tooth cassette, 31.6 seatpost with dropper post cable routing, and ISCG 05 tabs, the Honzo goes up, down, and all the way around.

2012 KONA OPERATOR

Kona has made some great changes to their 2012 Kona Operator DH bike this year.

To start, the new design features incredibly plush and durable oversized axle pivots and bearings, combined with low standover and a modern, balanced riding position. It's easy to maintain, with a supple and deep rear suspension feel.

To make it even better, they've shortened the rear chainstays by 12mm. This first run of new 2012 Operators (like the one pictured) has the old geometry (with 17.25" chainstays). Kona's next run will have 16.7" chainstays.

Equipped with a Rock Shox Boxxer Race 200mm fork and a Fox VAN RC rear shock, this bike is ready for anything it comes across.

2012 SHIMANO XTR SHADOW PLUS REAR DERAILLEUR

Unveiled at this year's Sea Otter Classic, the brand new 2012 Shimano XTR Shadow Plus rear derailleur is made with our ultra-light long-travel trail bikes and rougher trail riding in mind.

The Shadow Plus allows the sprung lower pulley cage to be locked out, which dramatically reduces chain movement. The idea is that you switch this on to stop your chain bouncing when riding over rough terrain, which prevents it from derailing or damaging your drive-side chainstay. Turn it off at the end of your ride to reduce the spring tension and make it easier to remove your rear wheel.

The 2012 XTR Shadow Plus rear derailleur will be a big improvement for riders who have problems with chain slap, chain suck, and chain drop.

2012 SHIMANO XT BRAKES

2012 marks the 30th anniversary of Shimano's XT mountain bike group. Shimano XT has symbolized quality and performance, but comes in at a significantly lower price than its XTR sibling.

New design: a linear lever design (similar to the design of the XTR lever) that makes it perfect for single finger braking
A brake that's lighter in weight, yet claims a 25% power increase over the previous model
Free Stroke and bite point adjustment
One-Way Bleeding system which aims to prevent air pockets from being trapped by forcing the fluid all the way through the two piece calliper

2012 SANTA CRUZ BLUR TR CARBON

A brand new addition to the Santa Cruz lineup, the Santa Cruz Blur TRc defines what a trail bike should be. Crafted from carbon fiber, the frame weighs in at an ultra-light 5 pounds with shock included.

The Blur TR is a half way point between their XC offerings and their longer travel AM/FR bikes. The top tube is a bit longer than their longer travel bikes, but the head angle is a bit slacker than their XC bikes. The result claims to offer great climbing and handling with a nice stable descent.

We've got frames available with Fox RP23 shock in Matte Carbon/Green (MSRP $2699), sizes small (pictured) and medium if you want to build your own custom dream bike. We've also got the complete bike (pictured, size medium) with the SPXxc build kit (MSRP $5099).
