The Path Photo Contest
We all have a favorite trail, favorite riding photo, or good story from a shred we’d like to share. In fact, it’s one of the best things to talk about with your cycling buddies, so that’s exactly why The Path wants to hear YOURS!
Starting Friday, January 22, we’re taking submissions for our first annual photo contest. Submit your photo with a description telling us why this photo is special to you — whether it’s a sick photo or a really awesome story, we want to know.
Our Instagram followers will vote on their favorite, and the winner and runner-up will receive prizes from The Path.
Some examples: A photo of you shredding a trail that you had crashed on before, a favorite trail that you know like the back of your hand, or maybe it’s just a super rad photo of you riding that you are proud of because you hit a sick feature, or just had a really awesome day on the trail! Remember, people will read and vote on these so be sure it’s something you want to share.
See an example here, and keep an eye on our social media over the next few days for more!
RULES:
-
Your description must include either the trail name or where it is located: Sedona, Arizona or The Luge in Silverado, California
-
Keep it on the up and up. No illegal trails, no bad trail behavior. These submissions will not be considered.
-
Your description must include a ‘why’. We want to know why you chose this photo. Is it because of the trail? Is it because of a cool feature? Tell us!
-
We aren’t requiring a specific length but remember that this will be posted on Instagram so it shouldn’t be extremely long nor so short we don’t get to hear the story behind your photo! Roughly between 4-8 sentences.
-
Only one photo can be submitted per person, as much as we’d love to see them all, we just want to see one of your favorites this time.
-
Submissions must be received by midnight on Tuesday, January 26. Voting will start January 27, and close January 31.
- Winners will be announced February 1!
The winner’s post will be posted to the Path Instagram and they will receive a Path Gift Card to be used in the shop or online. This contest is open to anyone who wants to participate, you do not need to live in SoCal to enter!
Submit your photos and descriptions to websales@thepathbikeshop.com. *Submissions sent to us any other way will not be considered*
