FEATURES:

  • The ergonomic shape of the GDH Team was designed in close collaboration with the fastest gravity athletes. The goals are to reduce hand fatigue and loss of control during demanding riding. Arm pump, hand pain, and loss of strength in the hands and forearms is due to an increase in pressure in the muscle tissue and fascia.
  • On the top surface of the grip, multi-level, multi-directional texture blocks deliver optimum cushioning. The interlocking structure prevents the rubber from collapsing under pressure – providing progressive cushioning that’s soft yet doesn’t compress or bottom out under heavier loads. The asymmetrical design also positions more rubber on the top of the grip for enhanced relief.
  • The aggressive finger zones on the underside of the grip maximize handling in the most intense riding situations. The four individual finger zones are angled to match the hand and arm positions of the racer – ensuring a tenacious grip.
  • The integrated ergonomic outer stop of the GDH Team delivers a locked-in hand feel and positions the outer zones of the hand perfectly in rapidly changing trail conditions. The inner stop is an intuitive reference for the inner side of the hand and is designed to allow precise shifting and braking. You’ll always grasp your cockpit quickly and correctly, even after you’ve taken your hand off the handlebars.
  • The GravityControl rubber compound used in the GDH Team grip is our softest rubber compound to-date. GravityControl rubber provides the incredible damping for a consistent feel and cushion.
  • Alongside triple Downhill World Champion Vali Höll, pro racers Troy Brosnan and Fabien Barel and countless world-class riders, Ergon has combined 10 years of experience with the GE1 Evo, GD1 Evo and GFR1 grip series to perfect every last detail of the GDH Team. The result is an uncompromising downhill grip for all ambitious racers – from the weekend warrior to the World Champion.
  • Design, development, and production – the GDH Team is "Made in Germany". This allows us to achieve the highest quality of standards in all areas of the production process. Short production timelines and domestic sourcing of raw materials also guarantee sustainable and virtually waste-free production.
  • Thanks to a high-strength aluminium clamp, the GDH Team will not twist on aluminium or carbon handlebars. This ensures rider safety and peace-of-mind.
  • The GravityControl rubber compound used in the GDH team meets Germany’s highest quality standards and is free from harmful substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBBs and PBDEs – as proven by the SGS certification. Even the demanding EU toy quality standard is achieved – especially important if you ride without gloves.
  • The GDH Team's replaceable end plugs are extremely durable and protect the end of the grip during the inevitable crash.
